-Karnataka continues to be the most preferred destination for all global giants due to numerous favorable factors such as proactive government, industry friendly labour laws, salubrious climate, enabling Law & Order situation, talent pool of highly trained professionals, cosmopolitan social life in the cities, investor friendly policies and Single Window Clearance support.
-The Department has already come out with forward looking polices that include concessions and fiscal incentives for setting up IT Parks, co-working spaces, stamp duty concessions, patent reimbursement, marketing support and sector specific venture Funds.
-These are aligned with achieving the end objectives of acceleration of GDP/GSDP rate, investment attraction and increase in export of goods & services.
-These initiatives have made Karnataka a very attractive destination for investments.
-The cumulative FDI inflows into the state from April 2000 to December 2018 were recorded at US$ 35.69 billion, the third highest in India after Maharashtra and New Delhi.
-Government of Karnataka has been actively engaging with Industry and Academia to build and promote the ecosystem.

-Today, Karnataka contributes close to 40% of India’s software exports.
-This has been possible due to contribution from industry stakeholders such as yourselves and interventions of Government.
-Government in association with industry partners is keen on taking up large upskilling and reskilling of local workforce. I encourage industry to actively utilize local work force who have the potential to be gainfully employed.
